Customer Feedbacks
SUMMARY:
PROS: Monitor clarity, ease of use, extra safety for baby, helping Mommy let baby learn to sleep on her own, price range, private frequency, dependability
CONS: Over all Range

After careful consideration of features and options this was the winner. I could care less about the color feature on the monitor but at night the black and white video monitor has been a life savor. I finally have a baby who sleeps all night because I can 'see' if she is just fussing but laying down, or if she is standing up and needs me. One time her foot got caught in the rails and I was able to see I needed to go in immediatly. I also want a video monitor for when and if she tries to climb out. As soon as I see a foot trying to go over the rail then it will be toddler bed time. She is already a monkey so this will helps us avoid a possbily bad fall. One last use is to monitor her playtime with her older sister and brother. I can be folding laundry while they play with her and still have my eyes on everything going on. Very nice.
I wish the range was a bit longer. We never did mount it because we travel with it. I have a one story home of 2800SQFT so it works fine anywhere inside the house. I can sit outside on my front porch and back porch but not much further. It will, if placed in line with a wireless signal, interrupt wifi. Hubby spent 4 hours trying to fix his work connection until I moved the monitor and it instantly reconnected. Kinda funny really.

There has been 2 times i thought the monitor had 'died'. Once it went to 'out of range" on the screen. The next time it went to just a dead black screen. Both times i was able to solve the issue by just reading the online booklet. The first problem was the two units became 'unsynced', simple fix. The second time was teh rechargeable batteries had died. It states clearly to remove them. We are just operating off the A/C adapter now.
